On Wednesday, November 13, the company was honored with the Excellence in Quality Competitiveness Award at the 45th National Quality Management Convention.
The award recognizes companies that achieve sustained customer satisfaction and business performance through cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality enhancement. Established in 1994 as the “Top 100 Quality Management Companies,” the program has now reached its 26th year.
Evaluations are conducted through a self-assessment via the Quality Competitiveness Evaluation System, followed by on-site reviews by 69 quality experts. Companies are assessed across 13 categories, including strategic and management systems, corporate culture, talent development, and quality systems. Final selections are made among those scoring 800 points or higher out of 1,000, corresponding to the top four of nine rating levels.
At the convention held at COEX Auditorium in Seoul, 61 companies were awarded, spanning sectors such as construction, metal, machinery, electronics, chemical, public organizations, and others. By company size, recipients included 9 large corporations, 19 mid-sized companies, 14 SMEs, and 19 public institutions, with strong participation from mid-sized and public enterprises.
Awarded companies receive several benefits, including exemptions from delivery inspections for public procurement items and additional credit in reliability evaluations for public bids.
This marks the company’s sixth consecutive year receiving the award, recognizing our continued efforts and commitment to innovation in quality. We will aim for a higher second-tier rating next year and prepare to challenge for the National Quality Innovation Award, the highest presidential commendation.
Lastly, the Evaluation and Certification Team expressed sincere appreciation to all employees for their dedication and support throughout the preparation process.
